Campobello Town Council
MINUTES
May 4, 2009
The regular monthly meeting of the Campobello Town Council was held on May 4, 2009 in the fire department
training room. The meeting was called to order at 7:01 PM. Those present were Mayor Ray Copeland and Council
Members Willie Matthews, Don Cohenour, Lee Neves and Mel Puckett
Councilman Matthews made a motion to accept the May 4, 2009 minutes as written.
Second by Councilman Cohenour, the minutes were unanimously approved.
Police Chief Chad McNeill reported a total of 30 calls during the month of April.
Fire Chief Eddie McNeill reported a total of 17 calls were responded to during the month of April.
Councilman Puckett made a motion to accept the Municipal Service Agreement, which is currently up for renewal,
presented by Duke Power for a final reading. After a brief discussion Councilman Matthews made a motion to
second the motion. The motion was unanimously approved.
Councilman Puckett made a motion to adjourn into Executive Session to discuss a personnel matter. Seconded by
Councilman Cohenour the meeting adjourned at 7:10 P.M.
At 7:21 P.M. Council reconvened with Mayor Copeland stating that personnel matters were discussed and no action
was taken.
With no further business presented, a motion was made by Councilman Neves to adjourn, second by Councilman
Cohenour. The meeting was adjourned at 7:23 PM.
