MINUTES
JUNE 1, 2009
The regular monthly meeting of the Campobello Town Council was held on June 1, 2009 in the fire department
training room. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM. Those present were Mayor Ray Copeland and Council
Members Willie Matthews, Don Cohenour, Lee Neves and Mel Puckett
Councilman Neves made a motion to accept the May 4, 2009 minutes as written.
Second by Councilman Cohenour, the minutes were unanimously approved.
Police Chief Chad McNeill reported a total of 36 calls during the month of May.
Fire Chief Eddie McNeill reported a total of 14 calls were responded to during the month of May.
Councilman Puckett made a motion to accept the Municipal Service Agreement, which is currently up for renewal,
presented by Duke Power for a final reading. After a brief discussion Councilman Matthews made a motion to
second the motion. The motion was unanimously approved.
There was no Old Business to review/discuss.
There was no New Business to review/discuss.
With no further business presented, a motion was made by Councilman Cohenour to adjourn, second by
Councilman Matthews. The meeting was adjourned at 7:09 PM.
